Research service

The CCS AI Inference Gateway service is provided for CCS users research and HPC use only. It is not for general, commercial, or other work. It is a shared research resource offered as is, with no guarantee of availability.

Where your data goes

Where your data goes depends on the model, not on the key. Models hosted on CCS hardware, whose names begin ccs/, run entirely on campus; your prompts and responses never leave the university. Any other model is hosted outside the university and your requests are processed by that provider, subject to its data terms. Before your first key that can reach such a model, Locksmith asks you, once, to confirm that you understand where that data goes. Which models a key can reach is listed beside the key on Locksmith's AI Inference Keys page, and always by the /v1/models request made with that key.

Your prompts and the models' responses are not stored. Neither this host nor the CCS model gateway keeps a copy of what you send or what a model answers. What is logged is request metadata only: timestamp, model name, response status, token counts, latency and client address, for operations and capacity planning.
